Ashford Town (Middx) 0 (0) Egham Town 3 (2)
John Hamsher took his charges back to his former stomping ground at the Robert Parker Stadium tonight and left with a nice warm glow after seeing Luke Muldowney grab his first brace for Egham Town, one a penalty, and new signing Louis Hedges, brother of winger Tommy, his first for the Sarnies. Egham entertain Farnborough Town on Saturday, welcoming back perhaps Marcus Moody, who was the Egham Town skipper for the early stages of the last campaign before he jumped ship to join the Spencer Day led revolution at Cherrywood Road. They follow that with a final pre-season match on Tuesday 31 August at Knaphill.

PS Forgive me if this report is crap but I was the best part of 250 miles away at the time. I can tell you more accurately how the mighty Leeds (utterly dreadful for the first 35 minutes) dealt with the awesome power of Tavistock last night. They won 6-0, but the last three were in the last 15 minutes agaainst a very tired defence. Tavy looked pretty useful though...
