Egham Town played their last pre-season friendly at AFC HAYES last night and in an entertaining game were behind 1-2 with their hosts when the lights went out. Egham, who had taken a 40th minurte lead they held until the second half, equalised in the gloom after both teams agreed to carry on. The Middlesex side took the lead after being awarded two debatable penalties for a foul and a handball offence.
